Only physically attracted to teenagers. what do i tell people?

Maybe someone on this site can help me out. I am a 52 year man. I've never been married. I don't have a girlfriend. Sometimes people ask me why I'm not married, or why I don't have a girlfriend. I usually say that I just haven't found anyone. But then they say I'm not looking hard enough or trying hard enough. I'm too embarrassed to tell them the real reason.

The real reason I don't have a wife or girlfriend is because I'm only physically attracted to teenage girls. When I look at porn, I look at the barely legal type exclusively. The sight of a nude 25 year old woman makes me want to vomit.

I can't date a teenager. I'm 52! So what do I tell people? Do I tell them the truth? I'm afraid of what people will think of me. I know it's not normal. Should I just pretend that I haven't found anyone? Or do I just say "None of your business?" Or is there something else I should say?

    I'd like to add that I am not chasing after teenage girls. I know I can't get involved with teenagers. It's just what I'm physically attracted. I really wish I was attracted to women closer to my own age.

    its just a syndrome, you were wise to hide it . its also very common.i think it stems from sexual frustrations encountered at a young age.

      Thanks. Though I don't think it's very common. While I believe it is common for middle aged men to be physically attracted to teenagers, I don't believe it is common for middle aged men to only be physically attracted to teenagers.

      At what age is a woman most fertile? If it's later teenage years then it's purely biological and normal. If it's late 20's then maybe there is a problem here.

      As long as he sticks to 18 and over there isn't a legal problem but it definately says something about his maturity.

        People actually think I'm a pretty mature guy. I certainly don't act like a teenager. My friends are around my age. And I pretty much act my age. it's just my physical attraction is to teenagers.

        I certainly would never try to get involved with anyone under 18. But let's face it. No 18 or 19 year old girl would have anything to do with me. Hence my not having a girlfriend.

          Find a girl with daddy issues and date them for 2 years. Does it stop the day they turn 20?

            Probably not, but I can't imagine it going past 23 or 24.
