Only guys 5-10 years older are attracted to me?

I started noticing only guys 5-10 years older than me are the ones who pursue/ flirt with me. I'm 17, so guys 20-30 usually make advances, I wouldn't say it's because they're creepers because they are certainly still young enough where there are plenty of attractive girls their age. I would say I look a little older and am mature for my age, and I'm certainly not interested in anyone my own age. Would it be creepy to actually take things any farther than flirting with one of them? Or is it just because they're guys and boys will be boys?

    Most likely you experience this for two reasons, you must be a little intimidating to guys your age and seem off limits to them, but at the same time mature enough to make you incredibly attractive to slight older guys. Which is usually your best relationship are found. Of course I could be wrong and you are just amazingly gorgeous! Whatever it is, use it to your advantage and enjoy it! Good luck with your choices.

      i have noticed guys my own age were intimidated by me, at first i thought i was a bitch and tried being overly nice but i realized it didn't make a difference. it's funny because the guys who have more experience and know what theyre doing will approach me, but being only 17 i don't really know what i'm doing sexually, i'm at a rock and a hard place

        You should never worry about your experience level, very often a great guy just loves to teach a willing soul when deep in a relationship. So push that worry out of your mind, and find a great kind to be with, and stop the worry about age also. I am sure at your worst, you are amazing!

    To be honest, most guys secretly plan to wife a woman younger than them, so I would keep your eyes open. 10 years is a bit iffy though, wait till about twenty to go a bit farther.

    OK I'm in an older age group, but honestly women my own age when I was 18-25 not only didn't like me, for some reason they shunned, loathed and humiliated me.

    When I hit 40, then they liked me (I mean 18-25 year olds when I was 40). Since then, I have not dated someone my own age with one notable exception - a wife who died of cancer.

    Age is just a number, but you should wait to start relationships with them until you're of age (unless of course, 17 is the legal age in your country).

    Girls mature earlier than guys do. There is nothing wrong with dating a guy in that age bracket, I did when I was your age.

    Very normal. 17-year-old and 23-year-old normal, 17 and 27 is unusual. ... 14 and 20 would be plain creepy.
