Okay so my friend is black and her mother will not allow her to date other blacks, she says that she thinks they could be related to them. It doesn't make sense. I've heard of white people wanting there kids to only date whites or even black kids only dating black, it's called racism. But what about a black person only being aloud to date white people I never heard of a parent doing that, when I first heard it I laughed!
Is it normal?

    No one knows who the hell the baby daddy is any more so she's probably not far from the truth. What's amusing is that my girlfriend and I have actually discussed this topic of unknown incest in the hood..Heehee...we need a hobby.

    Everyone is related to everyone somehow, it doesn't matter skin tone. That's weird. If she's that paranoid then just make a family tree!

    Whenever someone shows a prejudice against his or her own social group, it's called reverse racism. It's far more common than one might think. After all, many white people develop their prejudices against minorities based on a widespread media portrayal that is almost totally lacking in positive role models of color. When was the last time you turned on the tv and saw a successful black entrepreneur, or a successful Latino news anchor on major network news. If the uneven coverage goes a long way towards ingraining stereotypes in whites, why wouldn't it do the same in blacks, latinos, etc., since they are by and large exposed to the same media elements?
