Only 1 of these happens to an individual in a lifetime

when i was 4, my parents got their first divorce from each other. my father told the judge that he wanted custody of my siblings and i because my mother was crazy and would "chop us into bits," really he only wanted her to have to pay him child support. they got back together (apparently this was MY influence), only to be divorced once more when i entered 10th grade. between the first and second divorces, my father was extremely abusive, i struggled with a drug addiction, i was raped by 4 guys (on the same night, i was passed around between them) when i was 14 and they were all at least 6 years older than me, i was sent to a variety of therapists, my siblings constantly got suspended from school, and my mother grew increasingly crazier and refused to take her medication. fast-forward to the second divorce. my father steals over $1 million from my mother in the form of loans and cash. he has been cheating on my mother for the past 4 years with a trashy woman who is 18 years his junior, jobless, and homeless until he took her in. he spent all of the money that he stole on fancy cars, vacation homes, and designer clothes. he won't pay for my education and gives us barely any child support. my mother lost her job and had to take one that pays significantly less. we are on the verge of losing our house. my mother has become even more insane and is also driving me to a breaking point.
worst life ever? i think so. and this is leaving out tons of stuff.

  • I think of it like this, miracles are one in a million, good things are one in a hundred and bad things are 100 to one. But my calculations tell me that you're overdue for a couple miracles and a lifetime full of good things.

I am so sorry. Just hang on and don't turn to drugs for answers or even relief. It will only get you in more shit.

I have been through something similar, but the best thing to do is worry about yourself.

As tough as it may be, I have to say that you will get almost no sympathy from the Internet. No one here truely understands, but one hint. Study. Do nothing else. It may be a ticket out.

Feeling sorry for yourself and using your life story for attention gets you nowhere. What do you expect to gain from posting this? A bunch of people feeling sorry for you? Shit happened in your life so that excuses you from having to act like a normal person and MOVE ON? Loads of people have bad things they have to deal with. So you suck it up and learn from them, not use them for attention.

Oh please, you think you have it bad? Last week I had a fire in my fire place and the poker fell on the ground and put a tiny dent in the brazilian cherry hardwood floor I had installed. Then the idiot gas attendant forgot to put the gas cap back on my Ferrari F40 after I filled up, he got an earful when I had to go back there to get it. Then to top it all off my buffoon of a personal chef used white truffles in my bolognese sauce at dinner instead of black truffles and he thought I wouldnt notice, oh but I did, and fired his dumbass even though he whined and cried about how much he needed this job to put a roof over his head in his stupid housing project, that as fate would have it I own. I havent yet decided whether to just kick him out right now, but I can say for 100% sure if the rent isnt paid in 2 weeks him, his wife, and his 2 wetback kids will be out on the street for sure.

Wow, what a bunch of pricks on here. That was awful to read and I have no idea what to say to you, just don't believe these comments sum up humanity. I hope you find your own happiness, study and become your own therapist, no specialist will ever actually be able to see inside your brain, you have all the power over your reality. Sending Love x

@vansshoes-that is a great way to look at things. i completely agree. also, in most situations, when something bad happens something good comes out of it.
@author-don't listen to the ppl telling u to suck it up. you have had a rough young life and you sound very intelligent and like you have a good head on your shoulders. just stay strong like you have been and be there for your siblings and most importantly for yourself. i hope things get better for you and your family. take care :)

Eat shit and die, jessmartian. Perhaps OP is using this forum as a means of venting? What a concept, right?
