It is S0000 IRONIC that you commented that. I have been watching that old show to catch a predator on Youtube! Didn't chris hanson end up cheating on his wife though?

Well let me tell you a story, kids.

My younger sister and her online friend, until a few months ago, had 17 and 21 year old online boyfriends and all was well and good until it turned out that they were both being catfished by the SAME PERSON, who it turned out had also been stringing along a third girl with lies and fake pictures. To add insult to injury the catfish eventually confessed to being a 15 year old girl.

Don't date online unless they are willing to Skype with you and show their real face, if they claim they don't have a camera or they're too shy that is BULLSHIT and you can take that as confirmation that you are being trolled.

Good luck out there fellow IsItNormalers.

that is why you must always ask for the "money" shot on skype to confirm they have genitalia and aren't an alien

I know a couple who are happily married as a result of an online relationship. I think it really just comes down to the when and the who. I think if the two people are both completely committed to the relationship, feel strongly about each other and it's at the right time in both of their lives, it'll work out.

I think it works if you meet online but live semi close to where you can actually meet in person...sometimes.

My friend's sister married a man she met online. They dated for a year online before they met. I think they're going on 6 years now and they seem content.

I myself actually met my ex of two years on facebook...so their is one. Second, the guy I currently am really falling for also on facebook. I don't go around searching we ususally have mutual friends. Its a lot easier to have already met in person, because meeting someone you never seen is nerve racking and scary. But always do it in a public place, make sure they have more than 200 friends, and lots of pictures. If they don't those are big signs, they are probably not who they say they are!

I used to think it could never work, or that you could never fall for someone online. But you can, specially if you can meet the person in real then it has a chance of working. A lot of people make online relationships work, but I think they require more time and work than if you met in real.
