Older guy wanting to take out young girl from notorious bikie family

For those of you who don't know, in Australia the bikies are ruthless thugs who are involved in the black market, organized crime and gang warfare. Where I live there's an especially notorious bikie, who's called "Pegleg."

Now I am a 29 year old man and I work with a stunningly attractive 18 year old. We get along so well and there is amazing chemistry between us. She turned 18 at the start of the year but has to wait till the end of the year when most of her friends turn 18 to have people to go out with to bars and clubs here (the legal age here is 18.) I'm thinking of asking her out for a drink as of course we're both old enough to go out. But I just found out that her grandpa is Pegleg and her family are bikies. They are very protective of their women and they are quite violent people. I now have hesitations, I'm not sure what they would think of the age difference between us if I was to take her out. If you were in my position what would you do?
