Oj simpson. guilty or innocent? (in nicole's murder)

The title of this poll is 'Guilty or Innocent' because 'Guilty or Not Guilty' would be a redundant poll. We already known he was found not guilty. But it is easy to debate his actual innocence/guilt.

In any case, please provide details as to your beliefs.

I personally think he is guilty and did in fact murder Nicole Simpson. I believe his book "If I Did It: Confessions of a Killer" to be a hypothetical confession from the insane mind of OJ. In addition, there are numerous scientists that have concluded that there is only a one out of 57 BILLION chance that OJ is innocent. In other words, it is more likely of getting hit by lighting 4 times than OJ being innocent....That is enough for me to be almost certain OJ is a murder.

I have a lot more 'evidence' that I believe shows his guilt, but I prefer to just give you the above facts to start from. I will not flame anyone for believing in OJ's guilt, nor will I discriminate against comments in any way (unless they are nothing but spam/useless).

Guilty 216
I can't decide... 31
Innocent 35

yea and one of them died.. now i'm not saying that's karma or anything.. but if you're defending a murderer who killed ur wife's good friend only for the profit and fame and now you're dead?.. that's proof.

I have thought the very same thing. I know to a lot of people money is everything but to defend a murderer is as bad as having killed yourself in my opinion.

You're wrong! A murderer is not a murderer until proven guilty. There are plenty of people accused of murder who didn't do it. These people need lawyers.

That's how our legal system works. We have prosecuting and defense attorneys. If you can come up with a better way to determine whether someone has broken the law or not, please inform us.

Personally I hate the thought of innocent people going to jail, but it happens.

OJ is far to dumb to kill anyone. He got caught stealing his own jersey, on more than one occasion. The dudes an idiot! He has a book on how he would have done it. Maybe he paid to have it done. But even with help he himself couldn't have been present to successfully kill anything other than time.

Oh he killed them alright. You can't dispute DNA evidence and if you do, you obviously don't understand it.

He was found not guilty by reason of celebrity.
I am so sick of people literally getting away with murder because they have money, fame or both.

And the "if it doesn't fit they must acquit" is BS. They were hard, dried up with blood, put on over latex gloves and he acted his way through it, grimacing and all.

"If it's their DNA, he must be put away!"

Four words... The glove didn't fit.

Doesn't fit when it is shrunken and crispy from dried blood, put on over difficult latex gloves and on top of it all, OJ performs the acting of his lifetime, grimacing as he feigns his inability to put them on. He was quite good at spreading his fingers as wide as possible to make it even more difficult.
      How about
"If it's their DNA, he must be put away!"

In England we have a television programme called Crimewatch. Although ethnics only make up 8% of the population, nearly all the criminals on crimewatch are black. Therefore most blacks are criminals, therefore OJ Simpson murdered his wife. Therefore he's guilty. Simple logic really.

The prosecution was inept and the defense was a circus act intended to confuse the jury. Even so, legal experts were amazed that the jury let him go. The game is still less about truth and justice than about how to play the system by manipulating the jury. It works both ways--the guilty go free and the innocent get convicted, based on who has the better team. This is the argument for having professional jurors. Would you want your own life or death situation to be judged by people who don't really want to be there?

I was in like middle school during this whole fiasco and, for my age, I remember a decent amount of the drama. Nonetheless, I have never really jumped into the OJ hype.

OJ is such a fk'n piece it's not even funny. He did get away with murder. He thought he was invincible and had the arrogance to keep pulling the BS but his karma bit him in the butt and he's where he belongs.

Of course he killed her! I believe all the evidence proves that. Or was covered up or messed with somehow. Yes, he had really good lawyers, but I think the only reason he was found innocent was because he was a fu****g sports star and had money! He probably paid everyone off.

    @RejectedSinceDay1
Or... It was a collaboration of oj and Peter Griffin. Yeah, that's probably it! :)
