Yesterday, I filed for retirement and then had to spend the rest of the afternoon at the DMV. Is this the norm these days for governmental agencies to be staffed with so many, my shit don't stink assholes? I was a case file evaluator at New Jersey DMV in Trenton for ten years in the 1980's. A very stressful job. But those who could not hack it were moved to some other function. Being rude and arrogant was not acceptable! Not so today. The problem seems to be these poorly trained minorities who don't know their asshole from a hole in the ground and insist they are right when they are so way off the mark. Then I end up wasting another hour finding a supervisor (usually a white person) who can straighten out the dilemma and give me an apology. This happen twice yesterday. I wasted almost three hours for no reason at all! Can someone please remind these government workers that we, the tax payers, pay their salary? So is it me, or is this normal in today's world? Thanks for letting me let off some steam.

    You are at retirement age and you think this is something new?
    If you want to pay higher taxes, then these agencies could hire better trained workers and perhaps you wouldn't have to put up with their ignorance.
    However, your racial comments are competely out of place. There are plenty of ignorant, poorly educated, unhelpful white people in these government jobs; you are obviously just unobservant.

          Agree 100%, I understand the dude's frustration but it's inexcusable that he is the age he is and doesn't understand how many cases run through such a small number of employees, it's not their fault. He didn't need to pull race into this...

    You sound like a guy that I knew back in the 80's. I worked at DMV in Trenton too, then. Montgomery ST. 5th floor. Rita was our boss. I'll bet it IS you. You were an asshole then just like you are a asshole now. Glad you are retired. That means you are going to die soon.

    All government agency offices are like that. Full of dick wads that have nothing better to do than cause you problems. They don't care, they get paid either way. The dmv, public clinics, the department of economic security, the public transportation offices, the parks and rec, even the public access channel people. They're all lazy government paid pieces of shit. Shit sprinkles on the shit icing that covers this shit cake we so generously call a government.
