Offended when girlfriend says "its just fine in here for one person...."

I go into bed room and see my girl is all crowded on the bed with her planner stuff. I sit down on end of bed and remind her that i had cleared off a work space for her on the desk in the other room. She says "its fine in her when there is just one person" Well excuse the fuck out of me.... i was offended and left.
Is that understandable (normal) ?? YES
Am i being too sensitive (not normal( NO
