Is it normal that I use like 20-24 2ply sheets or more each time I wipe? I won't quit until I can wipe really deep and see nothing on the toilet paper after.

That's unnecessary and excessive. You can wet four or five sheets and wipe and then wipe with a few more that are dry. It should yield the same results.
This just means you don't want any marks in your underwear and you want a clean wipe. This is veryyy normal i do the same

i wipe my ass as many times as please with whatever i can find... although when i was younger and in a park i needed to blow one out my asshole... so i went behind some trees and dropped my trousers and hung onto a branch like a monkey and i did not whipe because i was in public and had nothing to use but my house was close by so it was no big deal
What would you do if the lights went out? How would you know you are done wiping?
I don't think that's unusual. I used to do that before I started using wipes. You'll save a lot of money if you wipe normally, then use a wet wipe to clean up your bum. It's very refreshing as well
You're going to bruise you butt. Why don't you just take a quick shower and use a gentle flannel wash cloth in that area instead so it will get clean faster with less rubbing? I mean unless the rubbing itself is what you enjoy which is a different matter. If you are a regular pooper you can schedule your pooping to times when it's convenient to shower after, if you don't poop more than twice a day it should work out fine.
