Obsessed with the goblin king

i first saw the movie Labyrinth when i was very little and have always had a crush on Jareth (the goblin king). but recently i find my self constantly watching the film, and downloading all the songs he sings in the movie, and constanly thinking of him. funny thing is i dont like david bowie the guy who plays him and wont listen to any of his songs unless they were sung in Labyrinth. is this normal or have i totally lost it?

    'Allo! DB had the odd good song, but mainly I just find his music depressing. I love the songs in the film though. I'd be quite happy to just sit in his castle, being sung to, drinking a nice cuppa tea. cos i'm short with lil arms, I look a bit like a goblin myself. Due to lack of said height I'd be eye-level with his.......

    Totally understandable, totally awesome character, plus, it's bowie(even if you don't like him) :)

    I'd say it's normal, i know i go through periods of being overly enthusiastic about something, plus he is a pretty cool character.

    haha, that's too funny. I love the film and watched it like a million of times since the 80's. But then, I'm a big fan of David Bowie, so it's not a big surprise here.
