I'm a 24 year old male away from home at college. I have a 21 year old best friend that is also my roommate. We have been friends for 4 years now and I have had all I can take. He always wants to know where I am, what I'm doing, and gets mad when I don't text him constantly. Also, he doesn't like the way I act when I'm around my family. He thinks I should change and act the way he does, which is rude and inconsiderate. He also has a very bad temper, gets violent, and has a vulgur mouth when things don't go his way. What should I do???

    OMG! that is not a normal friend. your friend should respect the way you are and he have not rights to control you. This happened to me last time that i am so fed up with my bestfriend that he kept controling me! so, it is better for you to talk to him this matter. =D

      i have a friend just like that and everytime he does some dumb shit like get emotional i fucking deck him in his face until he stops and when he does hes like stop why do you hit me itsn ot nice guess what i do fucking punch him out! try that maybe it will work. cause i havnt seen his ass in over 4 months now.

    that is not normal to have a friend like that. yes, i have had a friend like that also and it drove me insane! its like a nagging wife/husband. your just gonna live miserable if you dont either confront your friend about this and tell them how you feel..or just ending the friendship. thats all you can do about it..sadly.
