Obama is a stale, but competent president

Had he governed over a time of period of peace and tranquility, that would likely be true. But he was elected during "interesting times", and failed to rise to the challenge. I don't think he will be remembered well.

Obama will go down as one of the worst Presidents in US history. Weak, ineffective, negotiated horrible deals, his foreign policy left the world burning, financially irresponsible (approaching 20 trillion debt)... He exacerbated racial tensions. List goes on and on.

I think he was a great president. He was left with the mess that Bush created and had to rebuild the country. Let's face it, most Americans are still racist. If Obama was white he would be remembered as one of the best presidents, but because he is (half) black, the racist and prejudiced folks love to bring him down and make him look like an idiot every opportunity they get. The truth is, most people who don't like Obama are either racist, too stupid to understand what he's done to help the country, too stupid to understand that the president can't possibly control everything that goes on (and that losers like Congress love to get in the way), or too stupid to think for themselves and prefer to hate on him because it's "cool" to do so.

I think in time he will rate among the worst ever. I give him that rating now.

I believe it will not be apparent how much he has improved the lot of most Americans for some time. If the Republicans get in next, that will be sooner than later for most of us.
