I found a note in my girlfriend's wallet that says:

Keep it together. You need yourself to be calm and collected, stable and sound. You cannot count on anyone. All you will have is yourself. You could and should try to prove this wrong. But you've tried and still you're back. Remember, all you will always have is yourself.

    Why are you going through her wallet? Unless you suspected her of cheating I don't think you should have gone through her wallet. It's a personal note she wrote to herself. Don't bring it up to her! If and when she wants you to know she'll tell you.

    How would you feel if she had done the same to you?

      I agree with Rose, A: why are you going though her wallet and
      B: It's probably something personal, if she wanted to share she would of. Or maybe it's not time for her to let you know. Let it be, put it to rest unless brought up.

    There's nothing wrong with finding stuff like that. What's wrong is reading someone's stuff without their permission.

    You "found" the note because you were snooping, so take a look at yourself and mind your own business about what's in her wallet.

    Number 1, why were you going through her wallet in the first place
    And 2, it's just a personal note, it's nothing to worry about. If you've given her no reason to mistrust you, it should be no problem, it wasn't directed toward what she thinks about you. She is probably going through something tough with family members or friends. I've been there, hurt by those closest to me. Sit her down and bring it up. Don't be forceful since it's an extremely sensitive subject. If shes being pushy about it, calm her down, tell her to take a deep breath and try again. Don't interrupt her, keep your mouth shut and just listen, she'll appreciate that. Once you've found the source of trouble comfort her and tell her it will be alright.

    She must be surrounded by people who don't have her best interest in mind. She feels she can't trust anyone, and you are part of that everyone. Obviously she's right about you! People who respect their significant other don't go thru their personal stuff; wallet, purse, cell phone history, emails, pockets.

    She should put a PS on her note reminding her to start surrounding herself with a better class of people!
