Not wearing a bra all the time

I live in the USA and its kind of a given that women wear bras from about 12 on. I have bras and wear them occasionally but I don't like them much and some clothing looks and feels best with no bra. A friend of mine from Holland told me in Europe nobody really cares one way or another about bras, she said her grandma doesn't wear them. I like not wearing a bra but sometimes get weird looks or negative comments, from mostly women. Im not wearing tight sweaters with the nipples poking through, I do wear a bra if the outfit needs one but most of the time especially in the summer it doesn't matter does it?

You know, I'm trying to relate here...

I think, if guys were expected to wear bra-type straps around their balls, I probably wouldn't wear one all the time. So, in that case, I will say normal for you.

What do you care what others say or think about something as trivial as wearing a bra? Dress as you damn well please and fuck all those who don't approve, after all, it is a free country, isn't it?.

Not wearing a bra while doing normal activities won't make them saggy. However, if there's never any adequate support for them while running/exercising, they WILL eventually sag.

That's actually a myth, there is no medical evidence that ptosis is effected at all by bras.

Unless wikipedia is lying to me

Not wearing a bra while exercising CAN make them sag. It says so on the link you just gave me.

"When running, breasts may move three dimensionally: vertically, horizontally and laterally, in an overall figure-8 motion. Unrestrained movement of large breasts may contribute to sagging over time. Motion studies have revealed that when a woman runs, more than 50% of the breast's total movement is vertical, 22% is side-to-side, and 27% is in-and-out. A 2007 study found that encapsulation-type sports bras, in which each cup is separately molded, are more effective than compression-type bras, which press the breasts close to the body, at reducing total breast motion during exercise. Encapsulation bras reduce motion in two of the three planes, while compression bras reduce motion in only one plane. Previously, it was commonly believed that a woman with small to medium-size breasts benefited most from a compression-type sports bra, and women with larger breasts need an encapsulation-type sports bra."

I prefer tank tops with built in support. It's very minimal and not nearly as binding as a bra. I rarely wear a bra.

And no, wearing a bra does not counteract the effects of gravity.

Most Europeans find the USA to be a very conservative country, with most people being easily brainwashed by advertisers and often having identical ideas and opinions on many things. You'd find Europe much more relaxed, uncritical and offering different lifestyles.

I would much rather wear a bra when I can get away with it. In many places I would get looks I'm sure, never really looked for them. I can't go in public with a bra on under my shirts unless something to help camouflage or cover it. If I had real breasts to put in a bra I would be fine and OK with it. Even if I had gynacomastia, I would still be OK with buying and wearing them. I started wearing them at age 13.

No bra is good even with the tight sweaters and nipples poking through! ;)

"I like not wearing a bra but sometimes get weird looks or negative comments, from mostly women." - What, mostly women? Men don't complain? You are kidding!

No, seriously, it is absolutely normal. The compulsion to wear certain clothing - that is not what freedom is all about.

Only wear a bra in public when you are in a situation with lots of social pressure.
