This guy and i started hooking up, we have been friends for two years and are really good friends, so why not add some benifts to it? I don't like him like that, its just fun fooling around. He recently asked me to go camping with another couple, is that a date? Does he think that we are dating because in the begainning he agreed to FWB. What do i do! is it normal for him to be acting like this? Am i being nieve?

    Yes it is normal. FWB is cool for a while, but eventually one person or the other WILL develop romantic feelings for the other, It's unavoidable.

    If you have interest in him, then dating is a clear option. However, if you don't have feelings for him then you have to remind him how things are between you two before it goes too far and he gets hurt.

    I think you're looking too much into it. Camping with a couple is just another excuse to fool around. I mean obviously the other couple will have some alone time and he wanted to bring someone for that purpose as well I'm sure.
