I have noticed lately that I haven't felt any feelings of anything towards anything. The only times I feel anything is when I manipulate or decieve someone. I need help with this issue.
While it isn't "normal" to go through life feeling totally apathetic, you have to ask yourself how much it really bothers you.
If it's internally irksome enough that you want to change it, try heading to a psychiatrist. They can help diagnose it (it's actually a symptom of a sundry of afflictions), and give you medication. They'll also set you up with a therapist to see on a more frequent basis (maybe once a week), and so long as you choose to be honest with them, they can help you make some progress.
But if you only choose to manipulate others, no one can really help you....
I don't feel much anymore unless it's regarding a close friend. It's a natural phenomenon.
You'll need a damn good shrink to help you, if you want to feel emotions more. Each one I've had, I manipulated.
i know how thar feels just like cognition said. in fact i get along with ppl who are the same like me, i dunno if its being egoistic dunno.
I have felt this way for 10 years so far. It used to really bother me, and I thought that nobody would care for me because of it. I have a girlfriend who has absolutely no idea that I do not care about her at all. My friends don't know that I do not care about them etc. I constantly manipulate people for my own gain. In your case it may be because of depression, anger, resentment etc. But it's fine, just act normal and nobody will notice you, and hopefully one day you will feel something some day.
