Not a women by public standards

I don't behave the Way society says a woman should. I don't spend hours in the bathroom. I don't have a shoe fetish, i don't talk on the phone for hours on end, i don't year make up. I don't have pretty little cushions on my bed. I don't have girlfriends who i shop with or have coffee with. Is this usual. I feel i don't fit into any box that they say i should. I read articles all the time about women and their habits and i never agree with any.

I think we were separated at birth.

I'm like that, too- I say "dude" all the time, I swear like a sailor, I hate shopping, I hate phone conversations, I roll my eyes at the words "Mr. Right", and I'm not a damned femminist.

Yep, same here. I can't stand clothes shopping, most of my friends are male because I can't stand the things other girls talk and laugh about. I don't share the same sense of humour as any other girls my age (I'm 21).

I don't much like high-heels, earrings or any other 'pretty', girly stuff. 99% of girls annoy me. But I'm not manly or unnattractive, I look very much like a girl. I just can't act/talk/ like one. And I love it!

of course you are normal. i am the same way. im lucky if i spend 20 minutes on my hair and deciding on my outfit. Shoes, i'd rather not wear them lol. and makeup is only applied for important occasions, like interviews and presentations. low maintenance is almost every guy's dream. you're normal girllllll.

    Stupid stereotypes

  • Diditforthelulz

Those are just stereotypes anyway. Be happy you don't fall into the consumer trap that is "being a woman". I don't either, and I feel like more of a woman instead of a *girl*.

  • You are your own person like most women, and what you have described are media stereotypes.

I'm the same way. I don't get society and their "standards".

It's fine and totally normal not to conform to gender stereotypes.

Why does being female mean you HAVE to obey that list of behaviors?

If you are happy with yourself that's all that matters.
If another female insults you for not fitting her stereotype then SHE's the one with the problem, not you.

I think most girls dress up for other judgemental girls, because they are insecure (myself included), or just think they have to.
Most guys I know don't really like makeup, or all that Girly stuff...they think *we* do.

I asked people honestly, and they said makeup ok once in a while, but probably over half guys like natural girls. Makeup is fake and there is a time and place for it. Sure, smell good and look nice, but all that Girly stuff is a waste of time and money.

Who wants to go with the flow anyway? I, for one, don't want to conform or prescribe to any label. I'm happy as can be and have a lot of great people in my life who appreciate me for who I am. People don't care what you do or what you say or what "stereotype" you fit in to; intrinsically, people care that you care about them.

Oh, don't you worry. It is good to be unique. It makes you stand out. I always liked to get dirty and take walks, step in mud puddles, etc. All my girl friends at school were pretty girlish except for me, but if people don't like your personality then who cares? ;)

Absolutely normal Luv. Don%%u2019t worry about what you%%u2019re suppose to look or be like. The most important thing is that you feel good in your own skin and that you live according to your own beliefs and not the one imposed by media or society. Take care. ;o)

It means "female to male", though the correct term for this is "transman". Transmen are men who were born biologically female.

Oh yeah you are... every single woman I know is different than the other women I know, and that includes women like you. The only people who put want to put others into a specific box are those who are scared to leave their own.

Enjoy being you, and be glad that you like the things you do, and put those things (like a shoe addiction) in perspective for what they are.
