Normal to use cloth menstrual pads?

It started out because I didn't like how plastic and diapery regular pads felt, so I started making my own. I've also bought some on etsy, but I still have saved a lot of money in the long run. A few of my friends think I'm crazy, but I don't know...anyone else use cloth pads?

Nope, it doesn't appeal to me. Some people like cloth diapers for babies...Im a typical lazy American, I like disposable everything!

This is normal, but can be uncommon depending on where you live. Keep using whatever works for you and don't listen to the people who call you crazy for it.

Totally normal. I've been looking into using those myself. They're better for the environment and they don't have any chemicals 'n shit in them. Plus you don't have to hassle with buying replacement ones all the time. So less money and less wastefulness c:

But are they that absorbent? Maybe it's ok if you have light periods.

I thought about using cloth, because its cheaper in the long run, but it seems like it would be messy and a pain to clean.
