Normal to say nonsexual instead of asexual?

Is it normal to call it nonsexual when you're not sexually attracted to men or women or anyone? That word seems to make more sense than asexual.

I voted normal, but after reading some of the points made in the comments I take it back.

Nope. Non sexual is a declarative position. Asexual means it's given no thought or priority. Two different things. Stop trying to fuck with language.

    • I'm just fucking with my language, not anybody else's, no one else has to say nonsexual if they don't want to.

You could call yourself nonsexual if wanted to, but you would be incorrect and you'd sound like a moron.

  • Asexual means lacking sexuality and it is used for an individual that does not feel sexual desire or need. Nonsexual usually refers to an action, describing that it was not related to or a result of sexual need/desire. You can say: "He touched me nonsexually" (refering to the action strictly) or "He is asexual" (he has no sexuality at all). Not sure whether you can replace them, but sounds uncommon.
