So me and my best friend have been super close for 6 years. In high school we spent almost all our time together and were inseparable and we both liked to spend a lot of time together. Now that we have been in college for a few years she has increasingly found less time to call me back or even text me back when she is at school. However, when she is home she somehow finds time to talk to her friends and boyfriend from school. Then when she is actually home for the short THREE weeks we get for break she has her roommate come visit for a week. It's literally the only time we get to spend together, just us, from September to June. I get really mad and she just says I'm crazy. I'm tired of it. Also she gets mad i don't like her boyfriend (he is extremely boring and doesn't hold up a conversation when I try to make one with him), when she has hated every guy I have ever dated and refuses to ever hang out with me and them alone, but expects me to want to hang out with her and him. Basically she is a huge hypocrite. Is this normal to be so mad about her finding time for them , being hypocritical, and having then visit during short breaks?

    You need to tell her how you feel, It kinda sounds like shes trying to go her separate way. Its hard to loose a friend but after highschool it happens a lot. maybe it's time you got out there and make some new friends if she sees that your moving on with your life and are making a life for yourself she might decide she wants to be part of it! If she doesn't then shes not worth your friendship shes so lucky to have a friend like you I hope she wakes up and sees it good luck

    You should be thinking on your studies. It's not a big deal. Your just busy. when you get out of college you can be inseparable again.

    well if she's a hypocrite and if she don't bother to spend much time with you, and doesn't make the effort to return your calls then is she really worth your time and effort. I know you must love her a great deal, I think you should write her some long thing about how youre feeling and that you want to talk more. Or just make some new mates who actually bother about you. x
