    Yeah google is motivated by liberal propaganda and will throw them at you no matter how irrelevant they are to your search. Use duckduckgo, its way better.

    We can get stuck in algorithmic whirlpools if enough input is put forth. You likely searched for that, or your phone/or television picked up on a conversation.

    Hell, Facebook suggests advertisements based on television shows I have watched on a "dumb" TV because my smart phone was listening.

    No, I have never gotten any weird suggestions from Google. Those suggestions are based on what kind of searches I do.

      Well, sadly, you might not be important enough for even google to want to collect data on. Like you just don't matter.
      Hey I am not making fun, I am actually in the same boat. Facebook sold my info to companies and the companies demanded a refund.

        Well, whatever the reason... I like it.

        Now youtube is a different story. They suggest the most boringest movies ever. Then if I watch a video on one serial killer youtube floods me with killers and rapist. Anyone who uses my laptop to watch youtube would be concerned.

          There is little rhyme or reason to what youtube suggests.
          I get things that are like, "OK, what could I have possibly watched to emd up with this recommendation?
