I believe in things that can be consistently proven true. Seeking truth is very important in my opinion, because people see things many different ways. The truth is true though, so it doesn't change.
The blind men touching an elephant, arguing about it's various parts are still just touching an elephant. If they listened instead of drawing only on their experiences and verified the words of others they might have learned their mistake. It takes wisdom to listen and not jump to conclusions because truth is something you have to seek and verify.
I trust people who are proven true with their consistent words and deeds. I strive to be true and think before I speak, so i don't let feelings and assumptions cloud my intuition. I look for people who are willing to do the same.
Psychics claim special insight, but they're still just people. Many of them are very insightful people too, but that doesn't mean they have all the answers. Your brain is the way you process everything meaningful to your existence, so I would advise you ask questions, listen and try to learn new things if you really want to know what to believe in.
You can believe in anything, but that doesn't make it true. Grow, learn and you'll flourish. That's my advice.
I saw a real life murder show and a psychic told police the area the body would be found not by actual location but by description. She was correct. Whether it was a wild guess that turned out to be correct is another thing.
Most psychics will get you into a conversation to get an idea what you want to hear. Some of them actually give you a tape of your reading so you can track what happens and compare it to the tape.
