Normal for a man to change his mind on commitment?

My boyfriend of 3 years broke up with me said he can't commit realized this too late but that he really doesn't want to be in a relationship because it's too much work and it'll end anyway. I said why it's perfect he said it is perfect but that it's too much pressure and he doesn't like being a pair he wants to be single.

Then he broke up with me bragged about being single on social media, went clubbing, partied a lot, slept around, recently dated a girl for a few months but broke up and now he's back after almost a year. I received a text saying he wanted to talk so I called him and he apologized told me he was an idiot child who wasn't ready at the time but realized he never stopped thinking about me and tried to date another and he knew it wasn't right so he asked for another chance and I am giving it to him.

Only been with him 3 days now and we stayed up 7 hours chatting on the phone and it felt like no time had passed at all. He also seems like a better man.

Normal for this or do you think once a man isn't ready he's never ready?

Men can change. If he's actually making the effort and you're willing it can't hurt to see where it goes.

People change, if he's ready now and you're willing to move past things, this is a good thing.

He's your ex for a reason. Honestly, I would be wary of him.

I dont agree with someone is always an ex for a reason. Many people, probably half of married people have broken up before getting married. My parents broke up for a year while they were together and they're completely happy together.
