Normal?: enjoy a thirst for knowledge even if it means hurting others.

I'm a curious bastard, I'm an autodidact polymath to say the least. I hated school for it's teachers and students, but loved it for it's knowledge. For a long time I was considered a 'sociopath' for simply having an extreme thirst for knowledge. I would literally do anything to obtain new data, even if that meant torturing bugs or even messing with people's emotions. Psychology is among my favourites, I'm interested to know how one reacts if I *prick them with a pin* or *burn certain parts of their body with a hot pen tip*.

Is it normal to have this kind of crave for knowledge?

As long as you're not hurting people without their permission (like asking people to help in experiments) it's normal to be curious in psychology. I'd research experiments people have done in the past to satiate your curiousity.

You have very poor grammar for a self-proclaimed polymath.. Maybe the autodidacticism isn't such a good idea.

  • Torturing creatures is not good and I hope you get your due.

What you're describing is not a thirst for knowledge, but rather it is delusional thinking instead.
