Noooo! not again!!!! iin?!

Hi, it's me again! What? You don't remember me? Oh! That's okay. I'm the one that keeps writing posts about suffering from IBS (constipation). Guess what? My extreme constipation has roared back with vengeance.

Why I can't I go normally anymore? What have a done wrong? Is this karma? A cruel twist fate? I can't seem to get my ass back on track!

Last week, I kid you not, I only went twice. First one I had, was large and rather painful. Smelled horrific! It was very messy to clean because, I was unable to push the remainder out.

The second came in the form of multiple cigars. Not that big, not that long. Oddly, they lacked a smell.

I will admit that I have been very dehydrated as of late. I can't seem to arse myself to drink enough water. This is weird considering the fact that I adore my water. Drinking a little bit of water used to kick start my bowels, but not anymore.

I eat a healthy and as varied as it can be for me diet. What am I doing wrong?! Even my senna tea and caffeinated drinks aren't working!!!! Is it normal?!

    • I have very good news. I started taking this calcium complex and I have been regular ever since. My health has improved and I feel wonderful. :D

    • No… Thankfully, there's no need. I managed to go today by drinking coffee. I went very well and I feel so much better, lighter, and purified now that I have gone. I can't wait to go again. I will be adding probiotic foods like kimchi and pickles to my diet. Dairy alone doesn't seem to be able to get this stuff out.

    • The time was bound to have come. I almost started to enjoy sharing my little soap operas on here. I drunk coffee today and I went very well. The end… unfortunately was rather messy as I couldn't get the rest to finish coming out. :/

how much processed food do you eat? have you tried gluten free? gluten free is not a fad diet. it's bcuz wheat has been a long mutated crop. it's unhealthy! some people are more sensitive than others. you could be one of these. the only problem is that gluten free bread is expensive.. i know.. but you need to find what's messing with you, and that is one possibility. GMOs is another possibility, although I'd say the gluten is more probable. do you use honey in your coffee? if you don't, that will help better.

    • I do my utmost to make sure that my diet has no GMO's. However, sadly, when buying things like cheese from other countries, it can be hard to tell. The only processed food I eat is pasta. I don't eat a lot of it. I eat a lot of gluten-free foods. I don't know what the issue was, but I started taking a calcium complex and the problem has since gone away.

Get some fiber! Fiber makes ya poo really good. A great source of fiber would be beans. :D

But like other people said, maybe you should go to the doctor since it seems like you've been having this problem a lot.

Yes, one cup a day is damaging.

Drinking coffee makes it worse in the long run, dummy. Go google foods and drinks to avoid while suffering from IBS. Caffeine is on that list. It may help you go every now and then but you can seriously damage your bowels if you start relying on coffee everytime you need the loo.

    • I'm okay now. I quite drinking coffee. I don't think that it was good for my health, not just with the IBS. Now I drink 1-2 cups of Guayusa a day. Only 38mg of caffeine. Everything is fine and I feel great.

    • No one ever told me. The past two days, I haven't been able to go, even with the coffee. Is even one cup a day damaging? I only drink one because I'm not supposed to have a lot of caffeine. I have been drinking more water, but all I am able to do is urinate. I have gotten more veggies, some leafy, so that should help.

I was a brief sufferer of IBS, for a few months after I started on birth control pills. I would go once a week, sometimes not at all. Felt bloated all the damn time and couldn't understand why.

It kind of went away by itself, or atleast improved, and I've been making a point of drinking 750ml water every day. Get yourself some Senna constipation relief tablets, and eat a lot of fibre. Like allbran flakes, oats, fruit, all that stuff.

You could try probiotics too, but those gave me the runs. Be glad you don't suffer from something like chronic eczema. That, is a bitch.

    • Thank you. I've been taking a calcium complex and I've been fine ever since. It's been a blessing. Oddly enough, probiotics alone never seemed to work. I tried kimchi earlier this week. It mayde me unable to go for two days. Horrible. The pain it caused me was just as bad. It was as bad as it used to be if I hadn't gone in an extremely long time. Yogurt/Kefir was a hit and miss. I went with cow dairy, at times, but I was allergic to it. The diarrhea was probably a side-effect of that. I've been drinking a lot of water too.

    • I actually tried all of those and they seemed to make it worse. Even the enzymes in pineapple and ginger refused to work. The senna used to help but not anymore. That's why I got so desperate, broke my diet and had a tall cup of black coffee. I may have to permanently go back to drinking coffee. It's a shame that I'm not 21 yet, because wine seems have that effect on me. Maybe, I'm not eating enough fibre. I read somewhere that you need 30g per day. There's an African tribe that eats around 70g per day and they go multiple times during the day. How does a person manage to fit all that in one day? Where are they getting that much fibre? I'll try harder with my water consumption, but lately I keep ignoring the need to drink.

I hope you can get to a doctor and get better. Bowel issues are never enjoyable. I think I occasionally suffer from them myself.

    • I'm fine now. A calcium complex cured my IBS. I think it may be the Long Han extract in it but I am not sure.

    • I'm okay now. I drunk coffee and went. Like I stated above, I'll try adding foods like kimchi and pickles to help with digesting my food. I'll probably have to go back to drinking coffee permanently.
