Nightmares

Everynow and then I'll get horrble nightmares where I wake up sweating, scared and breathing heavily and sometimes screaming. When these dreams happen I usually get them for a week straight. And in these dreams I'm always killed in some kind of horrible way. G
( like comitying suicide, being stabbed to death or drowning)

When my mom was about 18 she started having Satanic dreams. And I'll be 18 in a few months and this makes me nervous. Is this something I should be worried about?

For me to fall asleep without nightmares, I usually pray (if you have a religion), write away my fears in a journal, and it may seem childish, but I often think of good words to get good thoughts and images into my mind. Sort of falling asleep on a good note. Try the names of good friends, your favorite foods, your favorite things, and just items/things you're grateful for.

You need to take some time off. I was always in depression, until a small holiday recently, and now im good again.

Satanic dreams??? WHAT THE HECK?!?!?!?Thats honestly a little bit of bull.

Anyway you may be pessimistic. Think of good things like chocolate, cake, games, comedy etc.

I meant No, as in its not somethimg to worry about. Last week i had nightmares the whole week. I realized that me being afraid of nightmares was making me have more! So don't worry so much and just let yourself sleep :] maybe even with a teddy bear.

Watch what you do before you go to sleep at night, like if your eating spicy food or something to that nature. Food will effect dreams. Also if your having a really stressful week or day it can effect your dreams too.
I doubt you'll have the same dreams as your mom. My mom said that she had the worst craps ever one night that she thought she was going to die when she was 13 and she assumed that I would get them too. But I'm 15 and that never happened.

Google dreams and how you can decipher them. Usually dreams mean something.
I have really weird dreams too.

    Hope this helps!

Maybe your life is somewhat miserable, don't think about the bad stuff and start thinking about the happy things. I'll start you off.
