New law now in USA that new federal buildings should be designed with classic roman/greek architecture. This is similar to the white house. The media was outraged about this but google "brutalist federal buildings" those are modern federal building designs that Trump is looking to stop and they in my opinion are hideous. They look like some starwars bs gone wrong. I never knew new federal buildings were being designed so hidious. Imagine going to DC to see that crap Id be so disappointed

    There is modern architecture that is stunning, and appropriate for government buildings.

    I suspect that this rule will not last long. One reason is that a lot of government buildings just house offices and mundane things. Greek/Roman architecture would add a lot of cost to just building a normal office building, research lab, or warehouse.

    That's really cool, i assume trump is pretty dumb but it's cool that he's making sure the federal buildings are pretty, i respect architecture.
