Hi so anyways i have been having a delema, so i have meet the people, it is this guyi work with and his girlfriend. Well it seems that the 2 of them are slowing falling apart and im sorta starting to like her. There are a few problems, i dont want to be the guy who steals the girlfriend and the other thing is.... Is she is a bit younger. Heres how it is, im 19 and have been out of highschool and this girl is a Jr. In high school which makes her like 2 in a half years younger. What do people think, is this not aceptable or is it????

    The fact you are questioning it shows your a good guy really. Just wait until they have actually split up first, stealing another guys girl is just wrong. As for the age gap, some people on here don't know jack. You're 19, she's 16.5 right? Most people assume that girls mature faster than guys so that's relevant. Also most people here make a big deal out of the under 18 thing. Three points about that a) You're hardly over 18 yourself b) In the UK consent is 16. By definition anyone who says having sex with a 16 year old is sick is saying 90%% of British people are sick c) People are just presuming that if you date the girl you are going to shag her. And that makes who the dirty ones eh?

    ps age does have to do with apporpriate types of love. it is ok to love a baby it is not ok to be in love with a baby. Its ok to love your mother/aunt/granny but not ok to make love to them. there are many types of love and some of those types are dependant on age. pedophilia is illegal.

    first off shes underage which in itself is a no no. but more importantly she is a co worker, its never a good idea to date coworkers. it never turns out good. I would first really decide how interested you are, if you are actually willing to 1. possibly go to jail just to be with her and 2. are you willing to quit your job for her. If both are yes then quit your job first, then date her and Cross your fingers that you never actually have to go to jail for her.

    GOD I've forgotten how much I really love this site.....It is acceptable for you to date her if they break up, if infact you can legally have sex with someone who is "16" or older and not 18 in your state.

    Is she sixteen? My ex boyfriend is about two and a half years older than me and we dated for four years, so dont let age stop you. But fair warning its a lot more difficult to find common ground with an age gap like that. My BF went to college when i was still in high school so we were in two completely different worlds. If you dont have plans to go back to school it should be a little better. Definitely wait for them to break up though! You dont wanna be "that guy."

      Yea thanxs everyone, yea shes 16 almost 17 but im here in idaho and the law here is at the age of 17 if you have concent from both sides its totally legal but yea i just dont want to look like a creep going for younger and younger

        I think you should defiantly wait awhile because if you don't you are going to end up in trouble for having sex with a minor.

        I also live in Idaho and to the best of my knowledge it is 18 years of age for consent so If I was you, I would double check that before you go to far.

        By the way, what part of Idaho are you from?
