Natural hallucionation, is it normal to wake up and see thing.

Okay this has happened to me four time last month. It's really starting to make me worrie! I've woken up and seen things....but not random things or monsters. Ive seen my little daughter rocking back and forth in one of my baskets, her crouched on my dresser throwing stuff off and some other unexsplanble things. Some one told me, it's just the dark playing tricks on you but I could see every detail, my room isn't that dark. And I do not take any prescribed medication not even over the counter meds, nor do I do drugs. I've also been losing my words. Like I can't make myself finish what I was saying because I forget. That happens every time I try to talk. Please help.

Sometimes when I wake up to go piss I see blood coming down the bathroom door it's like when u wake up in the dark like that u see things in your dreams and no it's not red blood it's usually green or something and it has a sign on it but I can never tell what it says because I blink and poof it's gone I've seen little girls before like if u wake up in the middle of the night and stare u can create something with your mind I think it's fun I try to make it scary or like a ghost. It's just your mind!

I'm just guessing that's what's happening. But the first time It happened I was so scared put the covers over my head and woke up my boyfriend, obviosly their was nothing their. The next time it happened I keeped my eyes on the whole time a backed out of bed I saw it the whole time but the moment I turned the lights on it disappeared. Whenever I saw my daughter rocking side to side in our clothing basket, I got out of bed with my eyes on her the whole time up untill I put my hand on the basket then she was gone. I wouldnt have a problem with it I understand shadows can look like a familiar object in the dark but the thing is, I could see every detail everytime this happend. I could see the color of her skin, the color of her clothing, everything.

Shit dude, you can't just diagnose a stranger with an extremely serious mental condition. This person needs to ask their doctor what is going on, we are not professionals and we're in no place to clinically test this person.

Lovefallout - please, tell your doctor.

It's a possibility. But you're right, she needs to be truthful with her doctor.

Its an understatment saying i appreciate your comment. Normally I get an uncaring response, like "yeah I know your crazy" or "it's all in your head" I've even asked someone in my family because she's a nurse and she told me "yeah that's not normal what if you hurt one of the kids, do you hear voices?" she's starting to treat me differently now. That's what makes it scary, I really don't want to go to the doctor, I think the fact that people might label me, then be scared of me. I will go to the doctor, honestly I've never even thought it could be a mental illness, silly as it sounds I thought I had a tumor .      Thanks tho.

Do you really think so? Ive been to scared to tell my doctor. I'm like so anti-meds, only because I've had a doctor that had me on a diffrent medication every week.

Mental illness is a possibility, but you can't get it diagnosed the old-fashioned way. You have to tell your doctor EVERYTHING. I know it may seem scary, but it'll pay off in the long run. However, your doctor may order you a blood test to rule out any psychical illnesses that could be causing the hallucinations.

        Good Luck!
