My husband wants me to sunbathe naked in our back garden. He says it turns him on and I look good with an all over tan.

Our garden is not overlooked by any neighbours as our road is all bungalows, but there is a main road runs past the bottom of our garden. Although we have a 6 foot fence there, there are about 10 buses an hour go past and anyone on the upper deck can see into our garden. Also lorry drivers in their high cabs.

Every time we have a hot sunny day and we are not working he starts on about it. It has caused so many rows I am starting to think I should just do it to give him his little fantasy. The trouble is I know that if I do it once, he will expect me to do it regularly. Should I stand my ground or just do what he wants to keep the piece.

    I suspect the fact that some people passing by would (or at least could) see you is a large part of the reason he wants you to do this.

    Obviously, you have the right to refuse to do anything your husband might ask of you, just as he has the right to say no to any request you might make of him. It's not a healthy relationship if one person forces or bullies the other into doing something they don't want to do. But I think that it's also not good for a relationship if one person flatly refuses to do something without a coherent reason for saying no.

    I'd suggest that you have a think about why exactly you hate the idea of doing this. Frankly, it doesn't rank very high on my personal scale of kinky. It's not like he's asking you to go braless and knickerless and flash strangers and neighbours on your local high street. If your back garden is along a fairly busy road, I assume the fact is that anyone seeing you would only catch a glimpse of you for a few seconds, and then only if they happened to be looking in the right direction.

    It's pretty clear that you're fearful of negative consequences if you were to do what he's asking for. Once you're clear on exactly what you're afraid of, talk to your husband about what he wants, try to find out why exactly he likes the idea, and let him know why you don't. Maybe you could come to some sort of compromise that you both can be happy with.

    I obviously don't know why he wants it, but I do know that a lot of guys are aroused by the idea of their sexual partners showing off their body to strangers. You might think that's abusive, horribly un-PC or suggestive of the guy seeing the woman as his property to display. All that is doubtless true in some cases, but human sexuality is weird, and some guys get a kick out of the jealousy they feel when they know another guy is checking out their woman. Sometimes, that leads them to try even harder to hold on to her, so such scenarios can have a positive result for the woman.

      Yes, but Tommo, there's dynamics playing with desires here. Firstly, she once was a random hot chick, that caused him to get constant boners. Sounds like he misses her attitude. You would also think she would miss his testosterone fueled enthusiasm. Plus, putting a lawn chair close to the fence makes a bad angle for the lorry drivers.

          Probs. I know you were having a bit of trouble with an ex stalking you in the past. As compensation for your misfortune, I hope you meet a cute female perv someday who expects you to never say no. I reunited with a old high school girl friend for a couple of years.     I sit in my door way every sunny morning completely naked and the only thing keeping cars passing by from seeing me are my cars sitting in the driveway, of course if they look between my cars just right it's a clear view of me in all of my glory

    You should never bow to pressure from someone just because they want you to do something. If you do something to please him, it should be because you personally want to turn him on.

    He sounds like a narcissistic piece of shit. If you give him an inch he'll take a mile and it will keep escalating. Kick him to the kerb.
