Nail polish resistant to removal??!!??

So about 3 weeks ago I painted my nails this really nice light blue color and about after a week I removed it with just some regular nail polish remover. The problem is that it won't completely come off! The actual polish came off but there's still a blue tint to my nails! I've been painting my nails since then, largely to cover this up but I'm worried it won't go away! (Btw the other colors i painted my nails came off perfectly fine but underneath the blue tint remained) Is this normal and/or is there anything I can do to get rid of it?

    It's normal. It stained your nails. Either it will just wash away after a few days or grow out.

    Your nails are just stained. Put lemon juice on them and always use one coat of base.

    yahhh. try putting lemon on them. and b4 applying nail polish put a base coat

    yeah that happened once when i painted my nails red. the colour stayed on for ages after i took the polish off. dont worry though, after time it will fade away.

    i had the same problem! i painted my nails of red and after 10 days i removed it but it didn't come off completely... so i tried to cover that awful red with a black nail polish. let them grow out!

    Rub your poo all over your nails. The toxicity of it should wear away the nail polish!

    Put a clear base coat on before you paint your nails. It helps prevent staining. As for the blue it'll either wear off or grow out.

    That happened to me also but with green that I wore for Halloween. I nice neon green! You just have to wait for your nails to grow out.

    i am male :D but I think you could remove the paint with a NOT sharp knife, just scrap it of and watch out you dont hurt urself
