My wifes mom just moved in with us...she is 67. I thought old people don't do it anymore. She Masturbates all the time and is very loud...Once her and my wife left for the store..I looked in her room and she has more toys(big ones)then we do....Is this normal at her age?
I mean it's kinda awkward she's being loud about it, seeing as you guys have opened your home for her.... but of course older people still have sex and masturbate. Why wouldn't they?
67, that'a the same age as I am, I still masturbate, probably just as much as she does, (I am a man) however, I live myself, if I did live with my son or daughter, I would try not to be loud, as that might embarrass them. It is kind of awkward asking her to be quite, if you told her to be quite, she might be so embarrassed that she might leave your home, so I think you will just have to get used to her frequent masturbating sessions, say turn on loud music when you hear her.

What is wrong with older people having sex, whether it is masturbating because ones spouse has died (in my case) or the couple having sex. Just because a man or women reaches pension age, that does not mean that they stop doing things that they did before. It seems, particularly among younger people that older people should not have sex, that is just not the way they should think.
I heard my parents having sex way too many times. That's probably why I moved out so young. It's not just old people having sex that grosses us out, it's any one we don't find attractive. Maybe they're over weight or maybe they're ugly but they have the same urges we do and for every person we think is too gross to have sex there is someone who would feel sick hearing us talk about wanting to fuck someone so bad it hurts or being fucked so hard our ears are still ringing. Every one needs love, that's why ugly people have other ugly people to hook up with.

except that I think... many people think their parents never have sex, at any age. Even if they're still having children.
Kinda like "OMG eeeew my parents had SEX?"
cos it's fine and dandy for US to enjoy it but, it takes a whole different level of maturity to accept that our parents enjoyed it too.

As for looking in her room... she's an adult. It's in bad form to snoop in your elder's things.
I was 13 when I visited my grandfather in a nursing home and learned that old people like to masturbate. It wasn't my own grandfather, I think that might have traumatized me.
