My wierd hand problem...

Every now and then I get a feeling in my hands which I cannot tell if is painfull or not. It feels as if i'm being pricked by alot of needles yet I cannot tell wether they are super hot or super cold. I think it could be a problem with the nerves ?

Don't listen to Just1question. I think he is just scaring you into seeing the doctor which is what you should do when you are worried about a health issue. We need to get out of this habit of resorting to Dr Google whenever something is wrong.

From the sounds of its pretty normal. The sensation you describe happens to my hand when I sleep on it and it looses blood to that hand. Once the blood rushes back it gives a prickly sensation known as "pins & needles".

Anyway if it gets more intense and serious and is happening for no reason then see your doctor, could be nothing could be something. Rather be told "you came just in time" instead of "if only you came early". Your choice.

  • Doesn't sound serious, but if it worsens or spreads up your arm: go to your doctor immediately. It might go away on it's own.

Its a symptom of aids. Go and get checked now just to be sure.
