My toe nail wont grow back what sould i do

This happen only one time but my nail grow back.But i hit my toe while i was running to see my dad and hit it on a table.I though hey it will grow back anyways so i cut it but then it never grew back why didnt it grew back if the last time it did.What sould i do or by the way i dont wear nail paint becuse i hate those kind of stuff becuse im a tom boy and yes im a girl

    mine has been gone for over a yr and tries to grow back really weird

    Paste one of those fake nails on the toe and wait patiently for the natural one to grow back.

    If your whole nail is broken then it takes a long time to grow, happened to me :/
