My stepdaughter says she feels awkward when i walk around in my boxers

She told her mom that she feels awkward when I walk around in my boxers and a t-shirt. Why does she feel this way they are cotton boxer not see thru and no opening in the front. is it normal for her to feel this way?

        Put on a sexy movie, get under a blanket on the couch, ask if she wants to join you under there. Lift the blanket to show you rock hard, stroking it.

    I felt awkward whenever my stepdad walked around in his boxers and t-shirt too. I'm not totally sure why, but I think it's because boxers are underwear, and it just feels weird to see your stepdad in his underwear.

    I imagine that to be awkward regardless of the material and quality of your boxers. Respect her by wearing basketball or regular shorts.

    Completely normal. I'd feel awkward seeing any much older man in his boxers, even my dad. It's too intimate for people who don't have a certain amount of closeness.

    For a young girl there is nothing more ugly and threatening than a man's bare legs. Unless you live in a stifling hot country you should keep your unsightly legs covered or at least wear shorts below the knee.

    Yuck! I can just visualise this and I'm in my 40s!

    My sister's ex husband used to sit around in his dressing gown and I used to tell him to go and get dressed. His big hairy legs were revolting and I had no desire to see them!

    Your step daughter doesn't want to see any more of you than absolutely necessary!! Yuck!! Cover up!!

    Shes probably just not use too that, some peoples dads / step dads always walk about with boxers on, some dont maybe hers didn't & it's not normal too her... Just respect her feelings & put a pair of cottons on or something (: x

    yes. I have a friend I've known since birth and I get awkward around him and he always wears boxers inside but I ignore it.

    I wish my dad would do the same, I once saw him in the shower and I've thought about it ever since. I think he was fooling around in there, he was semi erect, and I just wanted to lick him dry!
    If you want her to be comfortable with you though, respect her wishes, since after all it is reasonable to ask you to be dressed in front of her.
