My squad doesn't drink

Does anyone have a squad (group of friends) that doesn't drink? I'm the only one in the group that does. No, I don't mean having a whole bottle of moonshine, getting drunk, and passing out. I mean likes to have 1-3 drinks and having a blast. I would love to go to the bar or to hang out, have a couple of drinks, and generally have a good time.

The only people I have who enjoys this are my mom and a couple of her friends.

I have no intention to complain about my squad (group of friends) because they're awesome people. This has been a reoccurring thought

Is this normal?

    Your squad? Unless you are in the military I would avoid using that term.

      ... or a cheerleader.

      I think it's become trendy for young people today to refer to their group of friends as a squad. I think it sounds hella lame.

    Well if you want alcho friends, do alcho things & network. Try punching a police officer. There's plenty of potential mates waiting for you in the drunk tank. Bring homemade cookies if you really want to win them over!

    What about yelling slurry comments during serious movies. If anyone laughs, sidle up next to them & offer them a drink from your handy flask.

    Your drunk friends are out there. They're waiting for you, and some day you can pee on statues in public parks together. It will be glorious.

      I don't want drunk friends at all. I would feel embarrassed and awkward by them.

    I don't drink. I tried a strawberry daiquiri once and it wasn't bad just bitter. If I was to try again it would be a long island iced tea.

    You seem to feel like you should be drinking just because others do. But in my opinion, this is a can of worms worth not opening.
