is it normal a person who hates you for no reason will go out of there way to make you look bad to other people like spreadng lies about you
I wouldn't say it's normal but those people do exist. Maybe there's legal ways to prevent this? Not sure. A good soc on the nose should sort it out.
I don't know how normal it is, but it's quite common for people to act in such a petty way to avenge their so called hurt feelings.
It'd be nice to think that people can see through what's going on and recognise that it's just a psycho spreading lies. But I'm guessing that doesn't always happen.
I feel terrible for you. I think all you can do is completely shut that person and their lies out of your reality. Try as hard as you can to rise completely above it; it's just a ridiculous thing that's not even worth a second thought.
And hopefully other people will take your lead and realise that too.
Well, the vast majority of humans are egocentric narcissistic morons without a shred of empathy. So yeah, they do horrible shit.
If they are truly lies, you can sue for slander and defamation of character. That will fix their wagon. Or at the minimum cost them some money with a lawyer.
