My girlfriend says she will hide my Xbox and ground me from it if I don't help around the house and her kids is would any other females agree with her or do this as well? Would you go as far as to smashing it? Please tell me what you did and is 3 games of football or basketball to many games to be played in one night
How about you just both do housework and play videogames afterwards like everyone else? The two are not mutually exclusive.
Well, this isn't coming from a female's perspective. Even though I don't know all the details of the situation I think she overreacted for sure, but I think you probably should man up and help her out a little bit. She shouldn't need to tell you this. Don't be a Dick! Video games are great when you have time for them, but not when you let them get in the way of other things in your life.

If you are staying with her, you should at least pull your weight and help her. It's only fair.
I would never intentionally damage something that doesn't belong to me. That's wrong. Did she know when you first got together that you loved your Xbox do much? If she did, why does she expect you to change. Put your Xbox in a safe place or leave her.
As a female I think she's nuts. However... she might have a good reason for acting like that. How much do you help around the house/kids comapred to her? She probably feels alone in the chores and needs help. It's not fair though to act like a mad mother. You two should talk about it and work out a way so that she doesn't feel left alone and you can still play in your free time.
I most certainly would not do anything of the sort to my boyfriend's xbox. I play it as much as he does.
