First of all, it's not nice to refer a person as "it"! They are people with feelings too, you may be offending any little people that are reading. However, alot of people have very strange phobias, I watched a program when I was younger called "face your phobia" and it had people on it that were scared of all sorts things like oranges, buttons... can't really rememder any more. I know someone that's scared of tomatoes, ran out the room when he realised I was eating tomatoe soup one day. I wouldn't say it's normal, but I'd bet good money your not alone.

Not normal. I suggest seeing a therapist because this is going to cause problems in the functionality of your life and add the bud owning stress to people who have dwarfism.

It's as normal as any phobia. My phobia is somewhat similar, I get freaked out by children who are also little. I've managed to desensitize myself by seeing my little cousins. They absolutely love me for some reason, and don't notice how freaked out I am of them.

It's very normal to have phobias and in fact I know a couple of people that find little people difficult to be around.

Imagine how that person felt. Probably something like "-.-Seriously? What am I going to do, head butt you in the shin? Get a real fear.." LOL

Midgets are just people, with short problems. Just watch out, they have good aim. Cover yourself!

why are you people telling him/her that he/she is not normal. while the phobia of midgets is not a common one i will go ahead and say yes your reaction is perfectly normal because of the fact that it is a phobia

what i suggest is you search your feelings as to why you dont like midgets/little people. more than likely it will be just simply due to thier being different. best way to overcome this is to attack your phobia headon. its like a person who is scared of spiders, only way they going to ever overcome it is by forcing themselves to not run from spider but kill it or take it out of the area themselves. not saying go live your life with little people, but when you see one, dont run away, talk with them get to know them. do this and i can almost guarantee you will eventually overcome your phobia.
