It could be anything. Hormones, stress, chemical imbalance. You need to see a gyno. A couple of weeks or so can sometimes be normal, but months isn't.

That's a sign of double AIDS and cancer. Get that looked at immediately.

Weird things happen sometimes with periods, consult your doctor maybe? One month I had a one day long period, then the next month I didn't have a period at all. I was like, oh god i'm pregnant!! But I got it like 1000x worse the next month, so all was good. It could be any sort of medical issue, so definately see a doctor. However, if you don't want to do that, I find exercise causes my period to suprise me at the worst times. Just go for a jog and see what happens?

You do not say how old you are or what your weight is but this could ne a coralating factor. You should talk to your gp about it regardless, i have polysistic ovaries which evry woman has but in some it causes the periods to be irregular. Go to the doctor to put your mind at rest . :)

If you are underweight or exercising a lot it can also halt your cycle. I'd go get checked out.

It sounds like a hormone imbalance. You should see a doctor about it. I have a friend who had the same problem, and after seeing the doctor they figured out that that was the problem.
