My period is late, but i'm a virgin.

I don't keep track of my period. But I usually have it toward the beginning of the month. It's only the 6th.. But I'm scared. I've been having my period for 2, maybe 3 years. I do finger myself, though. And lately it seems that there is more discharge than normal. And my vagina is a lighter color. :/ I'm too shy to go to the doctor, or tell anyone. Should I worry.. :/ Is it normal?

If you actually are a virgin you're fine then. It could be due to over exercising or stress. And stressing about it only exacerbates the problem. And fingering your self is completely normal and acceptable.

You definitely shouldn't be too shy to see a doctor. As a woman, a yearly visit to the OB/GYN needs to be a fact of life. But no, nothing to worry about as far as your period. The average woman skips a couple periods a year.

It is likely just hormonal. As long as you are not having sex and everything feels and functions like normal, I would not worry.

Charlottelily why read stories if you don't care you silly kid! Good grief, it's obviously worried her so if you don't have something to say that puts her mind at ease try saying nothing.

Maybe it's stress. Im always stressed and have been 2 weeks late before. Although I didnt have all of your symptoms so you should probably gather the courage to talk to talk to a doctor. You don't have to be so shy because they've probably seen worse on another patient and it's their job to help you.

It's normal to have crazy periods when you're a teenager. My doctor told me that during those years it's more common than not to have late periods, long lasting periods, cysts, or periods that only last a few days/skipped periods.
    Surely it's just your hormones.
    Dont worry!!

Dont worry, it is normal as long as you get your period at least once every 6-7 months then you are fine..
It's prob due to stress, excessive exercising or unhealthy eating habits and not sleeping well~

I had a colleague who was to shy to see an OB/GYN for any type of exam... even if there was a problem.

    May she rest in peace.

Virgin births are actually more common than you think. Go to your doctor immediately.
