My parents thought it was a good idea to name me beau.

I was just wondering because some people think it's cool and others don't understand it. Sometimes when I meet girls I tell them my name is Chris, which is short for my middle name Christopher. Should i change my name?

I'm sure you already know but it's the male French term for "beautiful". Plenty of worse things you could have been called.

As long as your surname isn't Bridges, Peep, Brummell, or Geste, I guess it's okay. I wouldn't have minded a more original name.

I think it's very cool, but I can understand why you wouldn't like it.

The more exotic the name, the furthest up their asses the parents are.

tiger woods name is tiger. tiger is a werid name but he owned it and made it his own with his personality. ur name is only as stupid as you make it out to be and only as awsome as you do too. your name is unique probley like you. i know a girl named echo and shes so sweet and easy on the eyes that her name just adds to people rememebering her. i think u should be proud of it dont change ur name u were born with it for a reason. i wish my name wasnt so boring. i would love to not have a name thats so original but i would never change my nane because my name is apart of who i am now it wouldnt be the same if i changed my name

I know a guy name Beau, well at least there's a kid in my school named that. From what I've seen of him, he's a cool guy. If you think it's that weird then introduce yourself with it, girls will probably remember you better. Also, it's your character that really speaks volumes about the kind of person that you are, not your name.
