My own funeral?

Is it normal that whenever I go to a funeral, I look at the person in the casket and think "in less than 100 years, I'll be laying in a wooden box, covered in makeup, and having people cry all over me. And then I get really scared and can't look at the deceased person again! Anyone else do this, is it normal?

That's not the point, to the person above me. I think it's normal to be afraid of death, but we all die sometime, sweetie. Make sure you have no regrets when you kick the bucket.

I'm going for cremation and sprinkled in the ocean. Why waste ground space.

  • Well the good thing is that you still got so many years to live so your worrying for no reason. We all die, it's just part of life. So enjoy your life to the fullest. Usually when I see a dead person I don't look at them, I don't want to remember them that way..

All that worrying is going to take years off your life ;) But in all seriousness, everyone dies. I know it may seem kind of harsh, but t's true. If your worried about being forgotten, very few people are ever remembered in 300+ years anyways. It hasn't bothered me since I was 5, so that's why I might get into the funeral business. Rule of thumb: It's better to be seen, than viewed. So that people will remember you *fondly* when your gone.
