My nephew dosent want to go home

He has been with me for about a week now and he dosent want to go home He said he was done dealing with his parents problem.

He said a while ago his sister who is autistic randomly when insane and began screaming and scratching herself his dad my brother tried to stop her but she ended up bitting his finger to the point of drawing blood.

As my nephew has said this isn't the first time but this is the worst and he feels that it's getting worse he said it sounded like a demon screeching and he was trying to sleep.

He said that it's driving him crazy that they would have a child who is almost eighteen and she will never grow up he apparently also thinks it's gods sick joke that autistic people are made.

I don't know what to say to that or what I should do he dosent want to go back there because as he put it he has more peace when he isn't home.

I don't mind him staying with me but I'm not sure if that's my place I'm thinking about talking to my brother and sister in law about it.

You should send your nephew home and then talk to them about it. 3

Autism is very hard to deal with and I envy parents who care for autistic children. I personally dont know if I'd be able to handle it, maybe I'm a jerk too, but hes just a kid. If he needs to get away from it, I wouldn't shame him. It sounds like a scary situation to be in as a kid. Its kind of a touchy topic tbh but if that's what he really wants you should definitely talk to his parents.

Your nephew sounds like a jerk. I'm sorry but despite autism being hard to deal with, it's not exactly a choice.

On the other hand, he sounds young and not able to deal with a situation he's far too young to deal with. I can understand his wish to stay away from all that but he's not exactly considerate about it.
