My mum always tells me what i can and can't do and its driving me up the wall. She say's that i can do something tomorrow and then the next day, she say's i can't do it and she says i can do it tomorrow instead but then she won't let me. ect. etc. is it normal?
this is soooo typical of mothers. they cant ever decide anything. yes all kids and teens get annoyed by their mums, so yeah this is really normal. trust me.
It really depends on the situation. Sure, it's normal to be annoyed. Everyone's parents annoy them. It's good to look at their point of view though. Parents have a lot more life experience than their children, so respect their insight. I'm 20, fyi, so I'm kind of in the neutral zone on this. If it bothers you, tell her that the inconsistency confuses you and you wish she could make up her mind. Do it nicely though. If you approach her maturely she is more likely to listen to you as an adult.
We have to think of the mother's POV as well as the child's. Your mother is doing this most likely for your own well-being. Just knows that she thinks of you and try not to get too annoyed. We must be kind to our parents!
Personally though, I have to say that is quite annoying.
your mom dosent know what to do she dosent want u to grow up and make wrong decisions she prob.did something in the past she regrets and dosent want u to make the same mistake
you mother should make up her mind, and then stick to it.
it sends the wrong impression when first she says yes, then no, then yes.

Yes it's very normal , there is the same problem at my home , I live with my parents and my sister :D and actually it's the same relation between as is between you and your mum , my mother and my sister are fighting everyday on this problem ! :d heh ! but after a while they will be a friend again !
in the point of my view this kind of problem released by mothers !
