I want to calrify, I do not judge her nor feel ashamed of her, I just want to hear some strangers' opinions.

I think that's pretty mature and understanding of you not to judge her, good on you.

So, I'm very curious about how YOU feel about your mom's past. I did stuff before I got married and while I was a newlywed that ended up on the internet. Nothing nearly as bad as your mom but I too have children and wonder how they might react when they find out their wholesome mom wasn't always a prude
I can't believe I just saw this comment, To answer your question: I'm perfectly okay with her past, in fact I would be okay if she go back to it. I actually think she raised me well enough to know that 1. people are not less for being different from what society usually thinks should be normal and 2. sex is nothing to be ashamed of and your life is only yours. I wouldnt tell my friends but I dont think its that big of a deal. People do look down on people like her though so dont tell anyone.

Please, stop asking for her name, I’ve hidden several comments (one of them attacking and insulting me) asking me to share her name. This is an anonymous post and I want to keep both my and her privacy. Sharing who she is/was is not the point of this post. If you really want to watch her movies I encourage you to go to IAFD and try to guess who she is out of the hundreds of performers from that era and stop asking me to share my personal details.
