My mother is a bipolar, emotionally abusive wreck.

Hey, guys. I have an issue. My mother has terrible, bipolar-like mood swings. One minute she is all nice and sweet, and the next she is seriously emotionally abusive.
I'll explain her two 'selves'.
Self #1, (The Good Guy)- In this 'self', she acts all innocent, kind, nice, and happy. She goes to extreme lengths to have everyone together and having a good time. In this 'self' she thinks that what she finds fun everyone does, and that everything will turn out peachy.
Self #2, (The Bitch)- In this 'self', she is a total narcissistic psychopath who will go out of her way to offend me. She won't stop talking, accuses me of lying, mocks me, calls me names, and on top of all of it she plays victim. In this 'self' she is extremely emotionally abusive, and sometimes she gets physical, (which is always my fault.)
I hope you guys can help me. She is in the late stages of menopause, but honestly, I don't find that a reason for bipolar personalities. What is her problem, guys? Is this normal?
Sincerely, Nik.

Yah at that point if you can tell there's s trend and its out of her control and your control then save the one person you can save. Yourself.

Self #2 is a mental condition. Self #1 is your mom trying to makeup for Self #2.

I would say its normal but definitely unpleasant.
