I asked my mom what we were going to have for dinner today and she yelled back "I don't know" and she seemed really mad about it. She used to put a lot of effort into making me and my brothers food but now she just makes whatever takes the least time before she has to leave the house. Is it normal for her to get annoyed at me asking?
she's really tired times ten. her feet and back probably hurt.she might buy you a pizza if you are nice and she isn't broke.Or you could always make a grilled cheese and a can of tomato soup.or a bagged salad with leftover chicken or steak on top and some Italian dressing is always good.or microwavable popcorn. scrambled eggs and bacon also are great.Just don't destroy the kitchen in the process.That will make her even crankier.

She's probably sick of looking after you when you could look after yourself and the rest of the family by cooking dinner for everyone.

No she sounds very stressed, perhaps try and help her out a bit more I'm sure she would appreciate it .
