well i just found out that my little brothers freinds smoke and there in sixth grade. im not going to mention any names but i was with my brother and his freinds because he wouldnt leave my room so i let them stay. now it was right after they got out of school so they had their backpacks and stuff like that and i looked over and one of their backpack pockets were open and i saw a pack of ciggerets and lighter for some reason i didnt care so i just continued on what i was doing but i mean it cant be normal for like a 12 year old to think about smoking is it? ps. my little brother doesnt smoke just his friends.

    I know this one guy who has been doing smoking crack since the age of 3.

    2 years later and he's alienated all his friends and family, just shows you what can happen :/

    I guess it's normal, though i don't think it's good. It's a shitty habit, and to start so young? I didn't start smoking til college. I'll get cigarettes or bum them to kids if they're only a little underage, but I'd never wanna give cigarettes to someone so young

    fuck man. kids these days. the other day I was walking by a park and there were these girls (around 11 or 12) talking about sex and blowjobs and anal! I was like oh dear gawdddd, at that age i giggled at the mention of penis.

    My friends starting smoking at the age of 10. They started smoking weed at 11-12 and now I fink they'll start sumfin more harsh. Yet I hang around wiff them every day of my life and I don't even smoke cigg. Everyone around me smokes. It's weird.

    Smoking is actually very common among seniors in high school and younger middleschoolers. Just make sure you talk with your brother because I know the temptation to smoke is hard to avoid as a youngster with smoker friends.

    I smoked in the third grade. I liked it. But I'm self-concious and I know the dangers. I was so persuaded by my smoker friends. I shouldn't have been hanging around with them; they were gangsters. I didn't know at the time so I just did it...

    Kids are trying everything at a younger age these days, or so it seems. Hopefully you (or someone) can teach them the dangers of smoking and get them to quit before it's too late (before they do a lot of damage). Good luck.

    if you don't know how to handle a situation, do you feel that you can tell one of your parents? then they could deal with it.

    Ive known kids younger than that that smoke, but usually they have an enabler like an older sibling or a fucked up parent. I had a freind that smoked cigs with his mom since he was like 6. And another freind that started smoking weed when he was 9 because of his older brother.
